WHEFA Bond Financing Helps The Medical College of Wisconsin, Inc. Construct, Renovate and Refinance in Wauwatosa
Bonds Underwritten by J.P. Morgan and Loop Capital Markets
“Financing through WHEFA provides The Medical College of Wisconsin with access to low cost, tax-exempt funds that will be used to build a dedicated cancer research facility and to invest in existing education, health and research facilities. These investments will further advance MCW’s long-term commitment to leading cancer research and treatment and MCW’s goal to improve the health of all people in Wisconsin.”

The Medical College of Wisconsin, Inc.
Bond financing facilitated by WHEFA will be used to help The Medical College of Wisconsin construct a new 150,000 square foot Cancer Research Building and renovate two floors of its Basic Science Building, both located on the Milwaukee Regional Medical Center campus. Bond proceeds were also used to refinance bonds previously issued by WHEFA in 2008. This federally tax-exempt financing process has enabled The Medical College of Wisconsin to operate more effectively by financing and refinancing its capital expenses at low interest rates.
WHEFA is proud to continue its mission of assisting all eligible Wisconsin nonprofit institutions to obtain and maintain access to tax-exempt financing in order to finance or refinance their capital improvement and expansion needs.
