The Medical College of Wisconsin, Inc.
Construct and Renovate in Milwaukee and Wausau

The Medical College of Wisconsin employs approximately 5,500 full-time equivalents.

Bond financing facilitated by WHEFA will be used to help The Medical College of Wisconsin, Inc. renovate and equip approximately 100,000 square feet of an existing basic science building as well as other existing educational facilities and to equip a recently constructed 320,000 square foot professional office building, all located on the Milwaukee Regional Medical Center campus. Bond proceeds will also help expand and equip an approximately 25,000 square foot educational facility located in Wausau. This federally tax-exempt financing process has enabled The Medical College of Wisconsin, Inc. to operate more effectively by financing its capital expenses at a lower interest rate (3.050%).

WHEFA is proud to have been able to assist The Medical College of Wisconsin, Inc. reduce their overall debt service by providing access to low-cost private capital.
