WHEFA Bond Financing Helps Indian Community School of Milwaukee, Inc. Refinance in Franklin
“Through this tax-exempt financing, WHEFA has helped Indian Community School meet our goal of providing outstanding educational opportunities for Milwaukee area Native American youth. The staff at WHEFA were very supportive throughout the entire financing process, working closely with us to address our school’s specific needs and circumstances.”
– Thomas Oechler, Chief Financial Officer
Indian Community School of Milwaukee, Inc.
Bond financing facilitated by WHEFA was used to help Indian Community School of Milwaukee refinance bonds previously issued by WHEFA in 2006 and 2007. This federally tax-exempt financing process has enabled Indian Community School of Milwaukee to operate more effectively by refinancing its capital expenses at a lower interest rate (initially 0.713%).
WHEFA is proud to have been able to assist Indian Community School of Milwaukee by reducing their overall debt service and allowing them to grow and compete by providing access to low-cost private capital.
